Moth SPM Ephestia/Plodia SUT Vial Lure is a pheromone lure for professional moth monitoring of stored products. The lure effectively attracts two main species of stored products moths:

  • Indian mealybug ( Plodia interpunctella )

  • Moths of the genus Ephestia (e.g. flour or cocoa moth)


Purpose and operation

Pheromone bait is used in conjunction with appropriate traps (delta-type or funnel-type traps) for the early detection of the presence of moths in premises where food is stored or processed.

Regular monitoring allows:

  • detect moths early,

  • take preventive measures in time,

  • reduce the risk of product contamination and loss,

  • ensure compliance with HACCP / HACCP requirements.

Instructions for use

  1. Open the foil package and remove the vial-type pheromone bait.

  2. Place the bait in the trap of your choice.

  3. Place or hang the trap at a height of 1.5–2 m or in places where moth activity is most commonly observed.

  4. Check traps regularly.

  5. Change bait every 6–8 weeks or according to monitoring results.

1. General Provisions.
1.1. These Rules of Purchase and Sale of Goods (hereinafter – the Rules) are a legal document binding on the Parties, which establishes the rights, duties, and responsibilities of the Buyer and the Seller when the Buyer purchases goods in the e-shop.
1.2. The Seller reserves the right to change, amend or supplement the Rules at any time, taking into account the requirements of legal acts. The Buyer is informed on the e-shop website. When the Buyer shops in the e-shop, the Rules valid at the time of placing the order apply.
1.3. The following persons have the right to shop in the e-shop:
1.3.1. capable natural persons, i.e., persons who have reached the age of majority and whose capacity is not restricted by court order;
1.3.2. minors aged 14 to 18, only with the consent of their parents or guardians, except in cases where they independently dispose of their income;
1.3.3. legal entities;
1.3.4. authorized representatives of all persons mentioned above.
1.4. The Seller, by confirming the rules, also guarantees that, in accordance with clause 1.3 of the rules, the Buyer has the right to purchase goods in the e-shop.
1.5. The contract between the Buyer and the Seller is considered concluded from the moment the Buyer, having formed a shopping cart in the e-shop, specified the delivery address, chosen the payment method, and familiarized himself with the Seller's rules, clicks the "Confirm Order" button (see clause 5 "Ordering goods, prices, payment procedure, terms").
1.6. Each contract concluded between the Buyer and the Seller is stored in the e-shop.

2. Personal Data Protection.
2.1. The Buyer can order goods in the e-shop by:
2.1.1. registering in this e-shop – by entering the data requested during registration;
2.1.2. not registering in this e-shop.
2.2. When ordering goods in the ways provided for in clause 2.1 of the rules, the Buyer must provide the personal data necessary for the proper execution of the order in the relevant information fields provided by the Seller: name, surname, delivery address, phone number, and email address.
2.3. By confirming these rules, the Buyer agrees that the Buyer's personal data provided in clause 2.2 will be processed for the purposes of selling goods and services in the e-shop, analyzing the Seller's activities, and direct marketing.
2.4. By agreeing to the processing of the Buyer's personal data for the purpose of selling goods and services in the Seller's e-shop, the Buyer also agrees to receive informational messages necessary for the execution of the order to the Buyer's specified email address and phone number.
2.5. The Buyer, by registering in the e-shop and ordering goods, undertakes to protect and not disclose login data to third parties.


3. Rights and Obligations of the Buyer.
3.1. The Buyer has the right to purchase goods in the e-shop in the manner specified in these Rules and other information sections of this e-shop.
3.2. The Buyer has the right to withdraw from the contract of purchase and sale of goods with the e-shop by notifying the Seller in writing (by email, specifying the desired item to be returned and its order number) no later than within 14 (fourteen) business days from the date of delivery of the item, except in cases where the contract cannot be withdrawn from according to the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.
3.3. The Buyer may exercise the right provided for in clause 3.2 of the Rules only if the item has not been damaged or its appearance has not substantially changed, and it has not been used.
3.4. The Buyer undertakes to accept the ordered goods and pay the agreed price for them.
3.5. If the data provided in the Buyer's registration form changes, the Buyer must update them immediately.
3.6. The Buyer undertakes not to transfer his login data to third parties. If the Buyer loses login data, he must immediately inform the Seller using the contact methods specified in the "Contacts" section.
3.7. The Buyer, by using the e-shop, agrees to these purchase and sale Rules and undertakes to comply with them and not violate the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania.

4. Rights and Obligations of the Seller.
4.1. The Seller undertakes to create all conditions for the Buyer to properly use the services provided by the e-shop.
4.2. If the Buyer attempts to harm the stability and security of the Seller's e-shop operation or violates his obligations, the Seller has the right to immediately and without warning restrict or suspend the Buyer's ability to use the e-shop or, in exceptional cases, cancel the Buyer's registration.
4.3. The Seller undertakes to respect the Buyer's right to privacy regarding the personal information belonging to the Buyer specified in the e-shop registration form.
4.4. The Seller undertakes to deliver the goods ordered by the Buyer to the address specified by the Buyer.

5. Ordering Goods, Prices, Payment Procedure, Terms.
5.1. In the e-shop, the Buyer can shop 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
5.2. The contract becomes effective from the moment the Buyer clicks the "Confirm Order" button, and after receiving the order, the Seller confirms it – sends a confirmation email to the Buyer's specified email address.
5.3. Product prices in the e-shop are indicated in euros (€) without VAT. VAT is calculated and added after the order is formed.
5.4. The Buyer pays for the goods in one of the following ways:
5.4.1. payment using e-banking – this is an advance payment using the Buyer's e-banking system. To use this payment method, the Buyer must have signed an e-banking agreement with one of the banks listed below: SEB bankas; AB "Swedbank"; "Luminor" bankas. The Buyer transfers money to the e-shop's settlement account. Responsibility for data security in this case lies with the respective bank, as all monetary transactions take place within the bank's e-banking system.
5.4.2. Payment by bank transfer – this is an advance payment where the Buyer, after printing the order and going to the nearest bank branch, transfers money to the e-shop's bank account.
5.5. The Buyer undertakes to pay for the goods immediately. Only after receiving payment for the goods, the shipment of goods begins to be formed, and the delivery period for goods begins to be calculated.

6. Delivery of Goods.
6.1. The Buyer, having chosen the goods delivery service at the time of ordering, undertakes to specify the exact goods delivery location.
6.2. The Buyer undertakes to accept the goods himself. In the event that the Buyer cannot accept the goods himself, and the goods are delivered to the specified address, the Buyer has no right to make claims to the Seller regarding the delivery of the goods to an improper subject.
6.3. Goods are delivered by the Seller or the Seller's authorized representative (courier).
6.4. The Seller delivers the goods to the Buyer according to the terms specified in the product descriptions. These terms are preliminary and do not apply in cases where the Seller's warehouse does not have the required goods, and the Buyer is informed about the shortage of ordered goods. At the same time, the Buyer agrees that in exceptional cases, the delivery of goods may be delayed due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the Seller's control. In such a case, the Seller undertakes to immediately contact the Buyer and agree on the terms of goods delivery.
6.5. In all cases, the Seller is released from liability for the violation of goods delivery terms if the goods are not delivered to the Buyer or are not delivered on time due to the fault of the Buyer or due to circumstances beyond the Seller's control.
6.6. The Buyer must always immediately inform the Seller if the shipment is delivered in a crumpled or otherwise damaged package, if the shipment contains unordered goods or an incorrect quantity, or an incomplete set of goods.
6.7. In all cases, if the Buyer notices package damage during delivery, he must make a note on the shipment delivery document provided by the courier or draw up a separate act regarding such damage. The Buyer must do this in the presence of the courier. If such actions are not performed, the Seller is released from liability to the Buyer for product damage related to package damage that the Buyer did not note in the courier's product delivery document.

7. Product Quality, Warranties.
7.1. Data for each product sold in the e-shop is generally indicated in the product description next to each product.
7.2. The Seller is not responsible for the fact that the image of the product in the photo in the e-shop may not correspond to the actual size, shape, and color of the products in terms of color, shape, or other parameters.
7.3. The Seller provides a quality guarantee for certain types of goods for a certain period, the specific term and other conditions of which are indicated in the descriptions of such goods.
7.4. If the Seller does not provide a quality guarantee for certain types of goods, the guarantee provided for by relevant legal acts applies.

8. Return and Exchange of Goods.
8.1. Defects of sold goods are eliminated, defective goods are exchanged, and returned in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. Money for returned goods is in all cases transferred only to the payer's bank account.
8.2. To return item(s) in accordance with clause 8.1 of the Rules, the Buyer may do so within 14 (fourteen) business days from the date of delivery of the goods to the Buyer, by informing the Seller through the contact means specified in the contact section, indicating the name of the returned item, the order number, and the reasons for return.
8.3. When returning goods, the Buyer must comply with the following conditions:
8.3.1. the returned item must be in its original, neat packaging;
8.3.2. the item must not be damaged by the Buyer;
8.3.3. the item must not have been used, must not have lost its commercial appearance (undamaged labels, unpeeled protective films, etc.) (this point does not apply in cases where a defective item is returned);
8.3.4. the returned item must be in the same complete set as the Buyer received it;
8.3.5. when returning the item, it is necessary to present its purchase document.
8.4. The Seller has the right not to accept goods returned by the Buyer if the Buyer does not comply with the goods return procedure established in Article 8.3.
8.5. If an incorrect item and/or a defective item is returned, the Seller undertakes to take back such items and replace them with analogous suitable items.
8.6. In the event that the Seller does not have suitable items for exchange, the Buyer will be refunded the amount paid, excluding the price for delivery and payment collection, if applicable.

9. Responsibility of the Buyer and Seller.
9.1. The Buyer is fully responsible for the correctness of the personal data provided by the Buyer. If the Buyer does not provide accurate personal data in the registration form, the Seller is not responsible for the consequences arising therefrom and acquires the right to claim compensation from the Buyer for direct losses incurred.
9.2. The Buyer is responsible for actions performed using this e-shop.
9.3. The registered Buyer is responsible for transferring his login data to third parties. If a third party uses the services provided by the e-shop by logging into the e-shop using the Buyer's login data, the Seller considers this person to be the Buyer.
9.4. The Seller is released from any liability in cases where losses arise due to the Buyer's failure to familiarize himself with these Rules, despite being given the opportunity, and disregarding the Seller's recommendations and the Buyer's obligations.
9.5. If the Seller's e-shop contains links to the websites of other companies, institutions, organizations, or individuals, the Seller is not responsible for the information or activities carried out there, does not supervise or control those websites, and does not represent those companies or individuals.
9.6. In the event of damage, the culpable Party shall compensate the other Party for direct losses.

10. Marketing and Information.
10.1. The Seller may, at its discretion, initiate various promotions in the e-shop.
10.2. The Seller has the right to unilaterally change the terms of promotions, as well as cancel them, without separate warning. Any change or cancellation of promotion terms and procedures is effective only for the future, i.e., from the moment they are made.
10.3. The Seller sends all notices using the communication means specified in the Buyer's registration form.
10.4. The Buyer sends all notices and questions to the Seller using the phone numbers and email addresses specified in the "Contacts" section of the e-shop.
10.5. The Seller is not responsible if the Buyer does not receive informational or confirmatory messages due to internet connection, email service provider network disruptions.

11. Final Provisions.
11.1. These Rules for the purchase and sale of goods are drawn up in accordance with the laws and legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania.
11.2. All disagreements arising from the execution of these Rules shall be resolved through negotiations. If an agreement cannot be reached, disputes shall be resolved in the manner prescribed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. 

12. Complaint Handling.

12.1. You can submit a request/complaint regarding a product purchased on our website to the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority (Vilniaus g. 25, 01402 Vilnius, email: tarnyba@vvtat.lt, tel. 8 5 262 67 51, fax (8 5) 279 1466, website www.vvtat.lt), as well as to the territorial divisions of the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority in counties, or fill out the application form on the ODR platform http://ec.europa.eu/odr/.
